Remodeling Permit
The City of Downey Building Division is responsible for the implementation and enforcement of city and state codes relating to the construction, remodeling, alteration, repair and demolition of buildings and structures located within the city.
Inspector’s office hours when they are available to answer questions via phone and at our counter are Monday through Friday in the morning from 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. and in the afternoon from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
