Council Member Anne M. Bayer has been a resident of Downey for the past 47 years, currently residing with her daughter Amanda and mother Anna Marie. She is the Director of a non-profit Organization that assists teens and youth adults in and around the Downey area.
Anne was elected to office November 5, 2002, representing District 4, the Northeast quadrant of Downey.
Anne belongs to the following organizations: Citizens for Downey, Downey Rose Float Association, Downey Coordinating Council, Downey PTA, Soroptimist International of Downey, Downey High School Band Boosters '95-'97, and is past treasurer of American Business Woman's Association.
