August 22, 2006 - In the interest of public health and safety the city has authorized the Southeast Area Animal Control Authority (SEAACA) to conduct a city-wide canvass. The animal control employees will be going door to door throughout the city checking valid licenses, current rabies certificates and, if needed, collecting information and fees for un-licensed dogs. This survey will be taking place over the next several months.

All SEAACA employees will be in uniform and have SEAACA employee identification. Payment will be accepted by cash, check or money order. Upon payment the resident will always be issued a voucher receipt.
