ANNUAL EGGSTRAVAGANZA EGG HUNT
MARCH 26, 2007 - Join the City of Downey at the annual "EGGSTRAVAGANZA" on Saturday, April 7 at Apollo Park, Dennis the Menace Park, Furman Park and Golden Park. The Egg Hunts will be a morning of fun. Free activities will be conducted from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., which will include a craft and face painting. The Easter Bunny will be on site to visit and to take pictures for a fee of $2.00. The Egg Hunts will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m. and will be divided into 3 age groups for 12 years old and under. Members of the Miss Downey and Miss Downey Teen Courts will volunteer at the sites. Other volunteer groups to assist are the Volunteens and the Downey Police Explorers.
A special thanks to our co-sponsor the 'Downey Los Amigos Kiwanis' who provide a generous monetary donation of $500 to purchase some of the candy treats for the event.
