TENNIS CLASSES FOR ADULTS AND YOUTH
The City of Downey Community Services Department is offering a new slate of tennis classes for youth and adults beginning March 4 at Independence park, 12334 Bellflower Boulevard. Instruction will be led by Tennis Professional Fabian Grassini.
Adult Classes will be held Tuesday or Wednesday evenings beginning at 6:30pm. Each class is one hour in length and will focus on continued skill development for beginning - advanced players. The fee for the eight-week class is $95. In addition, an adult tennis league will be held on Thursday evenings from 7-8:30pm offering a blend of socialization and competitive league play. The fee for the league is also $95 for eight weeks.
Youth classes will also be offered for ages 4-7 and 8-14 on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday for a fee of $95 for 8 weeks.
