Downey is hosting its 1st Annual Emergency Preparedness Fair on September 8, 2018 at 10 AM -2 PM at Downey's Civic Center. We would like to invite 4 vendors who sells emergency preparedness products for personal use to hold a booth. Examples of preparedness products may include emergency car kits, personal emergency kits, emergency food/water, first aid kit, flashlights, etc. Space is limited, therefore vendors will be selected based on when applications were received, types of products offered as it relates to emergency preparedness, diversity of products from other selected vendors, and the overall needs of the City. If interested, please complete the Booth Registration form and submit to firstname.lastname@example.org by August 15, 2018. Selected vendors will be notified by email.
Please note that selected vendors must stay the entire duration of the event. Additionally, while there is no cost to hold a booth at the fair, selected vendors will be requested to obtain a Downey Business License and must pay the license fee. For more information about the license, please visit: http://www.downeyca.org/howdoi/get/business_license.asp . Below is a copy of the business license application for your reference as well. The City will not be responsible for any cost incurred by the vendor if the fair is cancelled or postponed.
