City Council Meetings  

The Downey City Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 6:30pm in the Council Chambers.

Members of the public wishing to view the live stream of the City Council Meetings on their personal electronic devices can do so by visiting the City's YouTube Channel.

To view City Council and Planning Commission videos prior to 2019, please contact the City Clerk's Office.

Public Comment

Individuals can submit their public comment to be read into the record at a City Council meeting. City Council Meeting public comments for any item on the agenda or non-agenda public comment can be sent to ccpubliccomment@downeyca.org. Comments will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. on the day of the Council Meeting.

The Downey Planning Commission meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 6:30pm in the Council Chambers.
