The City of Downey developed a strategic plan to guide the City’s activities for the next 5 years. The goal of the plan is to help the City identify major strategic priorities and create a clear path to achieve those goals.

The plan will also be integrated with the City’s annual budget development, the capital project planning process, and other plans and programs to align strategies with resources to deliver successful outcomes. 

The strategic plan was adopted by the City Council on June 25, 2024.
