English CERT Classes
CERT In-Person Training is scheduled for April 4, 2025 at 6:30PM - 9PM and April 5-6, 2025 (Saturday-Sunday) at 8AM- 5PM. To register, please email ready@downeyca.org with the following information:
- Name of each attendee
- Age of minor (if applicable)
- Email address
- Phone number
***Anyone below the age of 18 years old must also be noted in the email and must be accompanied by an adult throughout the training.
On-line CERT Classes
Due to COVID-19, the CERT Basic Training (lecture portion) is available on-line. The on-line classes were developed by the University of Utah, in partnership with Utah Division of Emergency Management. You can take the 8-12 hours of online independently, anytime, and at your own pace.
This on-line course may serve as personal preparedness training; however participants will not receive a certificate of completion from Downey's CERT Program. To receive a certificate of completion from Downey's CERT Program (in order to join Downey's CERT Team), you must take the in-person training.
