In an effort to create a safer community, The Downey Fire Department is committed to providing relevant and accurate information to educate the public and to increase awareness on topics that have been identified as being common threats to public safety.

Requests for public education can be submitted on this page using the “REQUEST” link below. The Downey Fire Department does its best to be available for Public Education however has the discretion to deny the request for Public Outreach.
