Swim lesson information will be released in the Summer 2025 Issue of the Downey Orbit. 

Swim lessons are in accordance with American Red Cross guidelines. Based on current skill level, Aquatics staff may adjust the Learn to Swim level a participant is enrolled in by the second class meeting if it is determined that the participant's ability is best suited in a different level. Adjustments will be made to ensure participant safety.

Please review the Learn To Swim Skill Requirements by level to determine which level your child should be enrolled in.
