On November 7, 2016 the City Council adopted a resolution approving the draft "Parks and Open Space Master Plan" submitted by the Parks and Recreation Department and composed by RJM Design Group, Inc. The Master Plan is an implementation tool for the management and development of parks and recreation facilities and programs through 2035. Additionally, it will be utilized by the City to determine how to best meet the future needs of the community through development, redevelopment, expansion, and enhancement of the City's parks system, open spaces, trails, recreation facilities, and programs.
