Call Athens Services the City’s trash hauler to have bulky waste collected 52 times per year up to five (5) items per pick-up. Bulky waste includes furniture, mattresses, box springs, carpet, or bundled yard trimmings (not to exceed four feet in length and two feet in diameter).

You can schedule bulky items online or leave a message on Athens' bulky item voicemail at (562) 259-1239 ext. 3. Please schedule your pick up at least one business day before our regularly scheduled collection day and list each item you want picked up.

Multi-family customers can call in and have the items picked up for a small fee charged to a credit card.
